Jarir Marketing announces opening of new showroom in Sharjah with investment o SAR 22 mln

On Friday 24/02/2023, Jarir Bookstore opened a new showroom in the University City area in the Emirate of Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates.
That is considered the 69th of its total Showrooms inside and outside Saudi Arabia.
The total area of the showroom is (4,000) square meters and will hold all the product range of Jarir bookstore. The total investment cost of this building amounted to Saudi Riyal (22) million.
The financial impact of this showroom will start to appear in the First quarter of 2023.
This is the First showroom that opened in 2023.
In another matter, Jarir Marketing Company announced on Sunday the closure of its showroom located in Al Rashid Mall in Al Khobar Governorate, as of February 24, 2023.
The reason for the closure is that the management of the complex carries out expansion construction works in the complex, noting that it will move to another replacement showroom in the same complex, Gate No. (4), with an area larger than the showroom being closed, as the area of the replacement showroom is (2,244) square meters compared to an area of (1,222) for the closed showroom. A square meters, and the replacement showroom is expected to open within a month from now.
With regard to the financial impact, it will be announced (if any) when announcing the opening of the replacement showroom.
