SAUDI TADAWUL GROUP ANNOUNCES CAPITAL MARKETS FORUM RIYADH 2025

 Building on the success of the first-ever international Capital Markets Forum in Hong Kong, Eng. Khalid Al-Hussan, CEO of Saudi Tadawul Group announced that the next edition of the Forum will be hosted in Riyadh on 19 & 20 February 2025.

At the inaugural international Capital Markets Forum in Hong Kong, Eng. Al-Hussan said “This is our first international edition. We are very proud to hold it in partnership with the Hong Kong Exchange. I am very glad to announce the fourth edition of our flagship in Riyadh next year”.

During the panel session, Bonnie Y. Chan, Chief Executive Officer of HKEX, said that she hopes that the Capital Markets Forum in Hong Kong is the beginning of the journey to seeing the first Saudi company listed on the Hong Kong Exchange and vice versa. Ms. Chan added that the areas that Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong can capitalize on are limitless, asserting that more events like the Capital Markets Forum will be helpful for investors to learn more about the local economies and companies in each market.

Luanne Lim, Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Hong Kong, said that the Saudi-China corridor is one of the fastest growing corridors for their Saudi business, and their connectivity and presence in both economies enables HSBC to capitalize on closer ties between Saudi, Hong Kong, and China. She added that the Kingdom’s transformation to a more diversified future economy is creating opportunities for Hong Kong investors.
