Norway’s wealth fund, the world’s largest and manages $1.15 trillion in assets, said on Friday that it incurred a loss of 449 billion Norwegian krone ($43.47 billion) in the third quarter of 2022, as it was hit by high interest rates and inflation and war in Europe.

According to “Reuters”, the fund’s return on investment was at negative 4.4% in the July-September period, which was 0.14% points greater than the return on the fund’s benchmark index.
