Euro zone bond yields fall as investors try to reduce risks

Euro zone bond yields fell on Friday as investors tried to reduce risks ahead of the start of the week after reports of an Israeli attack on Iranian territory.

According to Reuters, German 10-year bond yields, the euro zone index, fell by 3.4 basis points to 2.46%, falling from their highest level in more than 6 weeks, which they touched on Tuesday.

Italian 10-year bond yields fell 2.1 basis points to 3.86%, and the gap between Italian and German bonds narrowed 0.9 basis points to 139 basis points after briefly reaching 144.9 points to record their highest level since early March.

The spread between ten-year US Treasury bonds and German bonds also narrowed by two basis points to 212 basis points, touching its lowest level in nine days.
