CMA: Women Investors in Saudi Stock Market Surpass 1.59 Million; Individual Investment Portfolios Hit 11 Million

The count of female investors in the Saudi Stock Market surged to approximately 1.592 million by the conclusion of the fourth quarter of 2023, according to the Capital Market Authority.

Notably, the count of women managing investment portfolios in the market, hailed as the largest financial market in the Middle East, surged to 13.3 thousand during the fourth quarter of 2023. This marks a significant rise from the third quarter’s figure of 1.578 million, propelling female participation to an unprecedented peak.

Comparatively, the count of female investors experienced a noteworthy uptick of about 58.4 thousand in contrast to the preceding year’s same quarter, where it stood at 1.533 million.

Conversely, male participants in the Saudi stock market elevated to 4.555 million, reflecting an increase of 78.9 thousand compared to the third quarter of 2023, when the figure was 4.476 million. Moreover, this figure rose by approximately 273 thousand compared to the fourth quarter of 2022, which registered at 4.281 million.
