‎“Electrical Industries” distributed 84.3 million riyals cash ‎dividends for H1‎

Electrical Industries Company announced the decision of the Board of Directors to distribute 84.3 million riyals cash dividends to shareholders for the first half of 2023, equivalent to 15% of the nominal value of the share.

The number of shares due for dividends amounted to 56.2 million shares, at 1.5 riyals per share, provided that the eligibility is for shareholders who own shares on the day of maturity and are registered in the company’s shareholder register with the Securities Depository Center Company at the end of the second trading day following the maturity date, while the date of Distribution September 21, 2023

The company called on its shareholders to quickly update their data and to ensure that their bank account numbers are linked to their investment portfolios to ensure that their profits are deposited in their bank accounts on the day of distribution.

It also drew the attention of non-resident foreign investors to the fact that cash dividends that are transferred through the resident financial intermediary are subject to a withholding tax of 5% when transferred or recorded in accordance with the provisions of Article (68) of the Income Tax Law and Article (63) of its implementing regulations. ,.
