The Korean Importers Association announced on Tuesday that the president of the association, “Kim Byung-kwan,” met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to South Korea, Sami Al-Sadhan, where they discussed ways to expand trade between South Korea and Saudi Arabia.

According to the Korean Yonhap Agency, Kim said that it is not easy to export and import agricultural and marine products at a time when the free trade agreement with Saudi Arabia has not been signed. He expressed his hope that trade between the two countries would expand this year, pointing to the holding of the seventh round of talks to sign the free trade agreement in Riyadh.

Ambassador Al-Sadhan promised effective cooperation to facilitate the entry of companies of the two countries into their markets. He expressed his hope to maintain stable and sustainable relations between the two countries through the NEOM city project.
