Musk expects recession to continue until 2024‎

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said on Friday he believes the recession will last until the spring of 2024, after he earlier raised concerns about demand in China and Europe.

“Just a guess, but maybe until spring 24,” Musk added on Twitter when asked by a user how long the recession would last.

Tesla shares fell on Thursday, a day after Musk said it was “a little difficult” for the electric car maker to mobilize demand in the face of a weak global economy.
