Sipchem announces a fire in one of its factories in Hail City

Sahara International Petrochemical Company “Sipchem” announces that a fire broke out in a factory of one of its subsidiaries (Saudi Specialized Products Company) in Hail City, on Monday morning August 29, 2022 AD corresponding to Safar 02 1444 AH. This is during the trial run period without any injuries or casualties, thankfully.

The company is currently investigating the cause of the accident and working on a full assessment of the damages resulting from this fire, knowing that all the company’s sites are covered by the insurance, which will be considered when evaluating the damages.

The company expresses its sincere thanks to the competent authorities, civil defense in Hail City, and we appreciate their great efforts.

The company also thanks its employees for their prompt and effective response in dealing with the accident.
