IMF: Saudi economy is far from political turmoil effects in the ‎world, VAT doubled non-oil revenues

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) envoy to Saudi Arabia, Amin Mati, confirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its economy are far from the negative effects of political turmoil in the world, indicating that at this stage if we look at the economic situation in the Kingdom, there is an agenda of reforms and benefit from the rise in oil prices, which has a positive impact on the economy. Regardless of what is happening in the region, the Kingdom provides aid to all countries experiencing turmoil.

In response to a question by “Maaal”, he stressed that Saudi Arabia has an agenda of reforms that will put it in a positive position despite any political turmoil that some countries in the region may be exposed to. He stressed that the Saudi economy will not be affected by global and regional political turmoil thanks to its major reform agenda.
