Al-Falih: The Kingdom has become one of the most competitive ‎countries in the world through Vision 2030‎

Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Minister of Investment, said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through Vision 2030, has become one of the most competitive countries in the world, as it has developed huge potentials to significantly expand its investment and trade relationship with various countries of the world.

This came during a round table meeting with the private sector in the Kingdom, which was held in Jeddah in the presence of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, with the participation of representatives of the private sector and officials from the two countries.

In his opening speech, Al-Falih welcomed the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his accompanying delegation, stressing that holding this meeting comes from the importance of deepening the strategic partnership between the two countries.

He stressed the Kingdom’s keenness to encourage and enhance the participation of the private sector in the huge investment opportunities available in both Uzbekistan and the Kingdom and to benefit from the qualitative investment opportunities that the Kingdom has in all investment sectors, noting that the round table meeting aims to strengthen cooperation between Saudi and Uzbek companies. To discuss expanding the investment partnership between the two countries and its fields, and to explore investment and partnership opportunities between the two sides in all investment sectors.

It is worth noting that the meeting comes within the framework of the two countries’ efforts to achieve integration and benefit from the great investment potential, advance bilateral economic and investment cooperation, and enhance the exploitation of promising opportunities in various sectors.
