King Fahd Industrial Port, in Jubail, increased its total cargo handling, amounting to 17.5 million tons, an increase of 8.37%, during the Q4, 2021.

Meanwhile the number of ships called on the port, have posted an increase of 558 vessels, by 15.77%, compared to the same period of the Year 2020.

The most important materials that achieved a rise during the same period included iron ore, by more than two million tons, an increase of 28%, while diesel recorded more than 4 million tons, an increase of 18.4%, while naphthalene material achieved, an increase of 1.4 million tons, or 14.3%.

The King Fahd Industrial Port, in Jubail, is the largest specialized industrial port, in the world for the export of petrochemical products, oil derivatives and solid materials, such as iron ore, urea industrial fertilizers, sulfur, petroleum coal with 34 berths, an area of ​​6.8 square kilometers, and 5 terminals.

The port handling capacity is as much as 70 million tons, representing management supervised by the Saudi Ports Authority, as a gate through which it is overlooking an important part of the world, form on the eastern coast of the Kingdom.
