The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) recently concluded its third edition of the Cyber ​​Security Program (Secure), which aims to train and qualify a group of national cadres, in the field of cybersecurity, to work in the financial sector.

The program included scientific qualification, training, and practical application by international experts, in this field.

In addition to the on-the-job training, participating in panel discussions, working on group projects, and forwarding presentations that reflect their acquired experience.

As many as 21 male and female trainees participated in the program, undergone intensive training, that lasted for 6-month, between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America, and included three main tracks: Defense and protection, attack and penetration testing, infrastructure and structuring, and governance and risk management.

It is worth noting that the Cyber ​​Security Program (Secure) contributes to building qualified cadres and creating a promising generation of Saudi specialists, in the field of cybersecurity for the financial sector.
