Agro-products Manufacturing Industries Festival Kicks off

The festival of seasonal agricultural products and manufacturing industries was launched, in Buraidah, the main city of Qassim region, which aims to support marketing aspects of agricultural, animal and fish products and introduce the manufacturing industries, in the city of dates i.e. Buraidah.

Director of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture branch, in Qassim region, Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Raja’i said that the festival seeks to reduce waste and leftovers, achieve self-sufficiency rates and achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, stressing that the festival supports and stimulates electronic commerce, by creating platforms and marketing applications, according to the comparative advantage of the regions and the establishment of workshops and partnership with the cooperative work sector, with the participation of agricultural cooperative societies and specialized veterinary clinics.
