Saudi Electricity Named Strategic Sponsor for the Int’l Conference on Industrial Safety

The Saudi Electricity Company was named the strategic sponsor, for the Saudi International Conference on Industrial Safety and Loss Prevention, to be organized by the General Secretariat of the Supreme Authority for Industrial Security, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, in Riyadh, on 3-6 October.
The head of the industrial security sector, in the company Eng. Ziad Al-Shammari explained that the company’s participation in the conference and the accompanying exhibition comes as part of its efforts to implement international safety standards, and as a contribution to spreading the culture of safety, at workplace, to protect the individuals and the society, as a whole.
The company participated in the exhibition with a pavilion that display a set of awareness guidelines in the field of effective safety supervision, safe work procedures, golden rules for working, at heights and confined spaces, safety from heat stress, using technology to avoid fire hazards, at workplace, and reviewing security techniques, used to protect the company’s facilities.
It is worth noting that the Saudi International Conference on Industrial Safety and Loss Prevention is annually held, with the participation of a large group of specialists, in industrial security, and a number of major companies in the Kingdom.
Its sessions and workshops focus on the concept of safety and the proactive role of preventing losses, in oil, industrial and vital facilities.
