Competition Authority Take Measures, related to various Sectors  

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Competition Dr. Ahmed bin Abdulkarim Al-Khulaifi, chaired its seventy-second meeting, in the presence of the Governor Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Zum.

It dealt with a number of topics, in light of which it issued a number of decisions and directives, including decisions on short-track “merger and acquisition” economic concentration applications.

The Board also reviewed the results of the internal audit work and the minutes of the “fourth” audit committee meeting for the fiscal Year 2021 and related reports, in addition to the minutes of the meetings for nominations and remunerations committee and related reports.

It also dealt with a number of bylaws, policies and manuals of the internal procedures of the authority, regarding a number of views and observations.
