Budget Saudi Arabia, a unit of United International Transportation Company, reported a slight decline in net profit for the second quarter of 2024, totaling SAR 70.17 million. This represents a decrease of 0.16% compared to SAR 70.28 million in the same quarter of the previous year.
The company released its preliminary financial results for the six-month period ending June 30, 2024. Despite the slight drop in net profit, operating profit for Q2 increased to SAR 83 million, up 0.29% from SAR 82 million in the prior year.
For the six-month period, net profit reached SAR 139.8 million, showing a modest increase of 0.19% from SAR 139.6 million in the corresponding period last year. Earnings per share also saw a rise, reaching SAR 1.98 compared to SAR 1.96 in the previous year.
