“Spinneys” to open its first store in the Kingdom

Spinneys Dubai, the franchise owner of the Spinneys supermarket chain in the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman, announced that it intends to expand and open its first store in Saudi Arabia this year.

The company plans to open its first store in Riyadh in the first half of this year and to open 3 more stores by the end of the year in the Saudi capital, Jeddah.

“These are the two cities we are targeting where a base of our clients live – affluent clients with high incomes,” Kumar said, noting that Saudi Arabia, the largest economy in the Gulf, and the UAE offer a range of untapped opportunities.
