Saudi Foreign Minister, Pakistani counterpart chair Private Investment Facilitation Council

Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and his Pakistani counterpart, Ishaq Dar, chaired the meeting of the Special Investment Facilitation Council between the two countries, in the presence of the Kingdom’s high-level delegation, which includes Engineer Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Fadhli, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, and Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources. Mohammed bin Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri, Advisor at the Royal Court, Engineer Ibrahim bin Youssef Al-Mubarak, Assistant Minister of Investment, and a number of senior officials in the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Energy, the Public Investment Fund, and the Saudi Fund for Development, in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Foreign Minister praised the depth of Saudi-Pakistani relations, stressing that this visit comes as a continuation of the meeting that brought together Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Mohammed Shahbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, in Mecca, and their aspiration to strengthen Investment opportunities in various fields, and supporting investors in the two brotherly countries.

During the meeting, the most prominent opportunities for enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries in various fields were reviewed, and increasing trade exchange was discussed in order to achieve the aspirations of the leadership of the two countries.
