May 14: 300 British businessmen and Deputy Prime Minister in Riyadh

On May 14 and 15, Riyadh will host a bilateral forum between the Saudis and the British, where Rishi Sunak will launch an investment campaign aimed at benefiting from the Vision 2030 project launched by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The British delegation will include more than 300 British businessmen to Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden at the major Saudi futures event on May 14-15, according to a statement issued by Dowden’s office, and reported by Sons’ agencies.

An economic report revealed that foreign direct investments continued to rise in Saudi Arabia during the year 2023, by 71%, which reflects the growing position of Saudi Arabia as a leading investment destination in the Middle East region.

The report expected an increase in foreign direct investments and British investments specifically in the Middle East during the current year, driven by a group of major projects expected in the region.
