REGA Showcases Expertise in Real Estate Regulation at MIPIM in Cannes

The General Real Estate Authority (REGA) is participating in the real estate exhibition, MIPIM, in Cannes, which is taking place from March 12 to 15.

At the four-day exhibition, the authority will showcase real estate laws and the most prominent organizational procedures in the sector at its pavilion.

Tayseer Al Mufarrej, the spokesperson for REGA, said that the authority’s participation at the event stemmed from its role in shedding light on the Saudi real estate sector and diversifying investment resources as one of the major pillars of Saudi Vision 2030.

He also said that REGA and all government agencies are exporting their expertise and practices in regulatory work, adding that the Kingdom’s distinguished expertise in drafting regulatory laws in the economic sectors is always received with high interest at global gatherings.

The spokesperson also explained that the authority’s participation in the exhibition aims to raise awareness and encourage investment in the Saudi real estate sector.

Since its inception in 1990, the International Real Estate Exhibition (MIPIM) has taken place every year in the French city of Cannes. It is widely recognized as one of the most significant and globally recognized real estate events, bringing together global leaders in the construction and real estate industries. In addition to over 300 international organizations and enterprises involved in real estate marketing and development, over 6,500 investors are taking part in this year’s edition.
