AlUla, with Its High Mountains and Dense Palm Trees, Forms a ‎Fabuouls Artwork

AlUla Governorate is characterized by the variety of its terrain, mountains with distinctive forms, and some 2.3 million palm trees that form a green canvas flanked by the mountains.

AlUla Governorate has seen significant progress in the diverse tourism sector, including mountain tourism, which is linked to sport, adventure, discovery, photography, relaxation and reflection, away from the noise of the city.

Being a prominent destination on the international tourist map, AlUla joins the international community in its celebration of the International Mountain Day, which is marked annually on December 11 to highlight the vital role of mountains, and spur work for their development and sustainability worldwide.
