IATA: Total air traffic increased by 55% in February

International Air Transport Association “IATA” announced the continuation of strong growth in demand for air travel, based on the results of air traffic in February 2023, as the total air traffic in February 2023 increased by 55% compared to the corresponding month of 2022, bringing the movement Travelers reached about 85% of February 2019 levels, i.e. before the pandemic.

According to Al-Arabiya, the union stated that international aviation traffic increased by about 90%, with all markets recording strong growth, led by carriers in the Asia-Pacific region.

Airlines in Asia and the Pacific witnessed an increase of about 380% on an annual basis in travel traffic in February of this year, compared to a growth of about 75% in the Middle East and 48% in Europe.
