Saudi Arabia, Russia confirm commitment to “OPEC +” policy to ‎enhance oil market stability ‎

Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz discussed with Russian Minister of Energy and Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, the conditions of the global oil market, and the efforts of the OPEC+ group aimed at enhancing market stability and balance, as they affirmed their countries’ commitment to the decision taken by OPE+, last October, to reduce production by two million barrels per day until the end of 2023 AD, in addition to the continuation of cooperation between the two countries, within the framework of the OPEC+ group, to enhance the stability and balance of the global market.

This came during an interview with Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Minister of Energy, Head of the Saudi side in the Joint Governmental Committee for Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Russian Federation, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Head of the Russian side in the Joint Committee Alexander Novak, who is on a visit to the Kingdom.

Their talks included preparing for the meeting of the next session of the joint committee, and means of developing relations to serve the interests of the two friendly countries, within the framework of the work of the joint committee.
