SAUDIA Group recognized as the Gold Sponsor in Effat University’s 22nd Annual Career Day

SAUDIA Group was recognized for its notable participation as the Gold Sponsor of Effat University 22nd Annual Career Day held on 15 February, where Dr. Haifa Jamal Al-Lail, President of Effat University, presented the honorary award to Mr. Rakan Kayal, General Manager of Organization Development at SAUDIA Group. The university’s Career Day is an annual event that attracts elite academics and representatives from private sector companies and institutions, empowering female students to achieve their career goals.

Mrs. Rania Al-Turki, Executive Vice President of Human Resources at SAUDIA Group, explained the group’s keenness to participate in the events aimed at attracting academically-qualified national competencies, enabling them to join various sectors. SAUDIA also strives to enhance these talents’ role in managing and implementing development projects and initiatives, particularly those related to digital transformation, which can ultimately enable a significant leap in performance and development levels.

Effat University’s Annual Career Day held a panel discussion titled “Transitioning to the Virtual Workforce,” that featured  Mr. Rakan Kayal. The session covered several topics, including the requirements for creating transitional plans that ensure coverage of remote work policies, which in turn provides all workers with the resources and skills necessary for success. It also showcased the importance of providing the necessary technical infrastructure and ensuring its compatibility with business requirements.
