ACWA Power announces start of commercial operation of Central Tower (CT) 100 MW Unit of Noor Energy 1 P.S.C.

ACWA Power Company announced on Thursday the start of the commercial operation of Central Tower (CT) 100 MW Unit of Noor Energy 1 P.S.C.

Noor Energy 1 P.S.C. is the fourth phase of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Solar Energy Complex located in Dubai in the UAE. The total capacity under commercial operation of the project has reached 517 MW out of a total of 950 MW generated by concentrated solar energy in addition to photovoltaic panels.

ACWA Power Company said today on Tadawul that it owns a net stake of 25% in Noor Energy 1 P.S.C.

The company expects financial impact from the full capacity (950 MW) from quarter 1 of 2024 financial results onwards
