‎“Chemanol” to stop methanol and amine plants for 17 days ‎

The Methanol Chemicals Company (Chemanol) announced its intention to carry out a scheduled shutdown of the methanol and amine factories for a period of 17 days, starting from February 25, 2023 AD until March 14, 2023 AD, in order to carry out scheduled periodic maintenance works in order to maintain the operational efficiency of the two factories and their reliability.

The company will later announce the return of commercial operation for both factories upon completion of the maintenance work mentioned above, noting that this procedure will not affect the workflow of the rest of the company’s factories.

The company stated in a statement today on “Tadawul” that the financial impact of this suspension will appear in the financial results for the first quarter of 2023 AD.
