Transfer of All SAUDIA Group Flights to King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh to Terminal 3 and Terminal 4

SAUDIA Group has completed preparations to transfer the operation of all its international flights from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh to Terminal 3 and Terminal 4. Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) will transfer its international flights gradually to Terminal 4 starting Sunday, December 4th, 2022. While the low-cost carrier, flyadeal, will transfer all international flight to Terminal 3 starting Wednesday, December 7th.

SAUDIA Group provided the necessary technical systems, equipment, and personnel to ensure a smooth flow of operations. Self-service kiosks are also provided to enable guests to complete all travel procedures themselves.

The transfer of SAUDIA and flyadeal international flights was made possible by the exceptional planning of all the working teams as well as coordination and cooperation with the management of King Khalid International Airport, Riyadh Airports Company and other relevant government sectors.

The two new terminals will contribute to the full implementation of the operational plan of SAUDIA and flyadeal by fulfilling of the latest requirements and standards set by the aviation industry. They are also in line with the expansion plans of SAUDIA and flyadeal to increase the number of flights, as the capacity of of both terminals can accommodate up to 13 million passengers, with a combined total area of 124,000 sqm. The terminals will operate 22 boarding gates and are equipped with baggage carousels, immigration counters, and other features that contribute to efficiency and quality to enhance the guest experience.
