Rolls-Royce announces its first electric car, worth $413K ‎‎(photos/Video)‎

British luxury car maker Rolls-Royce has announced its first electric car, worth $413,000.

The CEO of the luxury automaker told CNBC that more than 300 US buyers had made deposits to buy the first electric Rolls-Royce before it was unveiled on Tuesday. Torsten Muller-Ötvös, CEO of Rolls-Royce, said buyers have visited the company’s headquarters in Goodwood, England over the past two weeks, to get more information about the car, which was publicly revealed on Tuesday and comes with a starting price of $413,000.

The two-door coupe, which is more elegant than the typical Rolls, has a range of about 320 miles and can go from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds. The company said that its entire production line will be fully electric by 2030.

It is worth noting that Rolls-Royce is one of the most luxurious and most expensive cars and one of the closest to the children of the aristocracy, which has been interested in this type of luxury English cars since its early days. Since 1946 AD, this car was manually assembled in its historical site in Crewe, northern England. ‎
