Mohammad Abunayyan Reappointed Chairman of ACWA Power BOD

The Company announced on Monday the decision of the Board of Directors at its meeting held on Sunday 16.01.2022, to appoint the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman of the Board as per the following: Mohammad Abdullah Abunayyan (Non-Executive Member) as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Suntharesan Padmanathan (Executive Member) as Vice-Chairman of the Board.

The Board of Directors have also formed its committees in accordance with the approved duties and responsibilities, appointed the Board Secretary and the Representatives of the company in front of the Capital Market Authority and the Saudi Stock Exchange “Tadawul”.

Reference to the results of the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting of ACWA POWER Company (the “Company”) held on 05.01.2022, in which the Members of the Board of Directors of the Company were elected for its new term, which began on 05.01.2022 for a period of three years ending on 04.01.2025.
