Average daily turnover down 19% -Al-Jazira Capital

TASI overall Trading totaled SR133bln, in November

The main Saudi stock index TASI fell to an average of 10,761.80 points, in November, down 8.05% from the previous month, with a total trading value of SR133.3 billion, and an average daily trading value of SR6.06 billion, down 19.2 % from the daily average of SR7.5 billion, in October.

Basic commodities and financial stocks made up for 44.83% of the total value exchanged during the month, Al-Jazira Capital reported.

The worst-performing sectors were long-term commodities and public utilities, which fell by 21.6% and 14.7%, respectively, during the same time span.

In November, SABIC Agricultural Nutrients company had the highest performance, up 6.5% from the previous month, while a metallic company’s stock had the worst performance, down 27.6% from the previous month.

Saudi Electricity company and Sipchem had the lowest P/E ratios of 6.98 and 10.11, respectively, followed by Al Yamamah Steel Industries company and the Saudi Investment Group, with 10.41 and 11.02, respectively.

On the other hand, the lowest multiplier book value was reported by Dar Al-Arkan, and the Saudi Investment Bank, at 0.52 and 0.88 times, respectively, followed by the Sera and Ascent Al-Jouf group, at 0.98 and 1.07 times, respectively.
