Business Sector Taxpayers Subject to (VAT) Shall Submit their Tax Returns

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority ordered taxpayers from the business sector, subject to value-added tax (VAT) to submit their tax returns for the month of last September and the third quarter of 2021, no later than the 31st of October, 2021.

“Zakat, Tax and Customs” urged them to submit their tax returns quickly through the website (zatca.gov.sa), in order to avoid the fine for not submitting the returns, within the specified period, at a minimum of 5% and a maximum of 25% of the tax value, which the taxpayer had to acknowledge.

It called on taxpayers from the business sector wishing to obtain more information regarding VAT to contact through the number 19993 the unified call center number, operating 24 hours a day, 7-day a week, or “Ask Zakat, Tax and Customs” account on Twitter (@Zatca_Care), or through e-mail ([email protected]), or instant conversations via the authority’s website (zatca.gov.sa).
