Commercial Arbitration Center, Contractors Authority Co-ink MoU

The Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Contractors Authority, during the opening ceremony of the International Contracting Conference and Exhibition, kicked off in Riyadh, under the patronage and presence of Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail.
The center was represented in signing the memorandum by the CEO Dr. Hamed bin Hassan Meera, while the Secretary General Eng. Thabet bin Mubarak Al Suwaid signed for the authority.
This step falls within the framework of the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration’s interest in the contracting sector, by providing it with the latest institutional arbitration solutions and providing specialized arbitrators and mediators on its list.
Contracting and engineering disputes represented 52% of the total cases registered with the center, ranking first out of 29 sectors.
