CHUBB Insurance receives claim notification from Sipchem for fire accident in factory of subsidiary

CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance announced on Wednesday that it has received a claim notification from Sahara International Petrochemical Company “Sipchem” on a fire incident that broke in a factory of one of its subsidiaries (Saudi Specialized Products Company) in Hail City, on Monday morning August 29, 2022.

The company has appointed a SAMA approved loss adjuster to assess the damage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the policy. The company has in place adequate reinsurance to protect the exposure and will announce any further developments related to the incident in due course.
