Saudi Central Bank Adds SAR 62.2 Billion to Its Assets During the Year

The assets of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) reached SAR 1,957.1 billion at the end of the first half of 2025, compared to SAR 1,849.6 billion, achieving a growth of 3.3% year-on-year. The central bank added approximately SAR 62.2 billion to its assets during the year.

The central bank’s assets as of June 30, 2025, included approximately SAR 974.2 billion in investments in securities and approximately SAR 425.2 billion in deposits with banks outside the Kingdom. The cash cover balance amounted to SAR 295.5 billion (including SAR 293.9 billion in foreign currency and the remainder in gold).
