The price of Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency, has surpassed $122,000, approaching a record high it reached several weeks ago.
Ether, the second-largest cryptocurrency after Bitcoin, rose 2.9% on Monday morning in Asia to exceed $4,300, its highest level since December 2021.
This surge is driven by growing interest in ether among major investors, with more than $6.7 billion poured into the nine U.S.-listed exchange-traded funds (ETFs) this year.
So-called digital asset managers, listed vehicles focused on accumulating cryptocurrencies, are also giving ether a strong boost.
