Aramco to Announce Second-Quarter 2025 Financial Results Tomorrow

Saudi Aramco is scheduled to announce its financial results for the second quarter of 2025 tomorrow, August 5. Aramco had previously announced its results for the first quarter of 2025, recording a net profit of SAR 97.5 billion, a 4.6% decrease compared to the first quarter of 2024, in which it recorded profits of SAR 102.27 billion.

Operating profit during the first quarter reached SAR 191.3 billion, compared to SAR 202 billion in the same period last year. Earnings per share amounted to SAR 0.4 in the first quarter, compared to SAR 0.43 in the same quarter of the previous year. Revenues reached SAR 405.65 billion, compared to SAR 402.04 billion in the first quarter of 2024. The increase in revenues is primarily attributed to higher sales volumes of gas, refined products, and chemicals, as well as higher volumes of crude oil traded. This was partially offset by lower prices of refined products, chemicals, and crude oil compared to the same quarter of the previous year. Experts had expected the company’s profits to decline in the second quarter. Aljazira Capital forecast a 14.7% decline in Aramco’s profits to SAR 90.6 billion, while Al Rajhi Capital expected the company to record a 17.1% decline to SAR 88.5 billion.
