Apple reported third-quarter revenue that exceeded analysts’ expectations, driven by strong iPhone and product sales in China.
Revenue rose 9.6% to $94 billion in the period ending in June, compared to the average forecast of $89.3 billion. Earnings per share were $1.57, compared to the $1.43 forecast.
Apple had forecast a $900 million loss due to tariffs during the period, saying revenue would grow in the low to mid-single digits.
