Volvo Suspends Sales of Some Cars in US Due to Tariffs

Volvo Cars has announced it will reduce the number of models sold in the United States this year, one of the first examples of a major automaker suspending shipments to the United States.

This comes against the backdrop of tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump, which are making it difficult to make a profit on the sale of a wide range of vehicles.

The Swedish carmaker, owned by China’s Geely Holding, said it is removing sedans and station wagons from its US portfolio due to declining interest, according to Reuters.
