US Senator Confirms Trump’s Intention to Impose 100% Tariffs on Russian Oil Importers

US Senator Lindsey Graham announced that US President Donald Trump intends to impose 100% tariffs on countries that purchase Russian oil.

Graham, one of Trump’s staunchest Republican defenders, told Fox News that China, India, and Brazil, which account for approximately 80% of Russia’s low-priced oil exports, will have to choose between the US and Russian markets.

These statements come days after the European Union approved Package 18 of sanctions against Moscow, which included restrictions on the banking sector and lowered oil prices, as part of efforts to undermine Russia’s ability to finance its military operations in Ukraine.
