SIPCHEM Records Losses of SAR 169.2 Mln in Q2 2025

Sahara International Petrochemical Co. (SIPCHEM) recorded on Monday losses of SAR 169.2 million in Q2 2025, compared to profits of SAR 121.5 million during the same quarter of the previous year. This came after announcing the financial results for the period ending June 30, 2025.

The Company’s operational profit during the second quarter amounted to SAR 86.6 million, compared to SAR 190.2 million in the same quarter of the previous year, a decrease of 54.4%.

Profits per share amounted to SAR 0.04 during this period, compared to SAR 0.42 for the same period.

The Company stated in a statement on Tadawul that the losses were primarily due to increased sales volumes, offset by lower selling prices for some of the company’s products. This was in addition to higher feedstock prices for natural gas and ethane, which led to a decrease in gross profit.
