Saudi Ministry of Commerce recalls 2,234 BAIC vehicles due to a defect that could lead to a fire

The Ministry of Commerce announced the recall of 2,234 BAIC X7 vehicles (2022-2024) due to a defect in the electrical fuse box, which could lead to an electrical short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.

The Ministry called on users of the model affected by the recall to verify the vehicle’s chassis number is included in the recall campaign through the Defective Products Recall Center website and to contact the Arabian Automobiles Gateway Company to carry out the necessary repairs free of charge.
