Prices of all types of cement increased by 0.06% to 0.74% in May 2025 compared to price levels during the same period in 2024.
The “Building Materials Price Statistics” bulletin issued by the Saudi Contractors Authority indicated that the price of national black cement reached 15.78 riyals in June 2025, compared to 15.77 riyals in June 2024, an increase of 0.06%. The price of national white cement reached 38.38 riyals in June 2025, compared to 38.08 riyals in May 2024, an increase of 0.74%.
The bulletin stated that the price of national black cement reached 15.78 riyals in June 2025, compared to 15.76 riyals in May 2025, a 0.13% increase. Meanwhile, the price of national white cement reached 38.36 riyals in June 2025, compared to 38.26 riyals in May 2025, a 0.26% increase. It added that August 2024 recorded the highest price for national black cement, at 15.86 riyals, while January recorded the lowest price, at 14.99 riyals. It noted that April 2025 recorded the highest price, at 15.89 riyals, while May 2025 recorded the lowest price, at 15.76 riyals. She noted that the highest price for national white cement was recorded in April 2024, at 38.2 riyals, while the lowest price was recorded in January 2024, at 37.34 riyals. She explained that the highest price was recorded in June 2025, at 38.36 riyals, while the lowest price was recorded in March 2025, at 37.83 riyals. On the other hand, a report issued by Yamama Cement Company stated that cement sales volume increased by 12% during June 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. Sales volume reached 4.031 million tons during June 2025, compared to 3.556 million tons in June 2024. Export sales volume increased by 23%, reaching 193 tons during June 2025, compared to 157 tons during June 2024. Domestic sales volume increased by 13%, reaching 3.838 million tons in June 2025, compared to 3.399 million tons in June 2024. The report indicated that total cement production reached 4.923 million tons during June 2025, compared to 4.512 million tons during June 2024. Meanwhile, inventory reached 44.986 million tons during June 2025, compared to 44.986 million tons during June 2025. 43.878 million tons during June 2024.
