Saudi Arabia to Organize the Syrian-Saudi Investment Forum 2025 in Damascus

The Ministry of Investment announced that the Kingdom will organize the Syrian-Saudi Investment Forum 2025 in Damascus to explore prospects for cooperation and sign agreements that will promote sustainable development.

The statement explained that “in a move that reflects the leadership’s keenness to strengthen economic relations with Syria… the Ministry of Investment is organizing the Syrian-Saudi Investment Forum 2025 in Damascus with broad participation from the public and private sectors.”

It stated that the forum “aims to explore opportunities for cooperation and sign agreements that promote sustainable development and serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.” It contributes to strengthening bilateral relations and is a continuation of Saudi efforts to support Syria, contributing to its stability during its current phase of economic recovery and promoting the interests of its people, based on the directives of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.

The Ministry indicated that it will coordinate with the Federation of Chambers of Commerce to arrange a working visit to Syria with the participation of a large delegation from the public and private sectors. It noted that it will work in cooperation with relevant authorities in both countries to facilitate the exploration of investment opportunities and overcome obstacles. The ministry explained that this comes in conjunction with activating and empowering the private sector, including identifying companies willing to invest in Syria and organizing a number of workshops.
