SAPTCO Q2 Profits Edge down 2.6% to SAR 40.5 Mln

Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO) reported on Thursday a slight decline in net profit to SAR 40.5 million in the second quarter, down 2.6% from SAR 41.6 million in the same period last year.

Operational profit fell to SAR 57 million, compared to SAR 64 million for the year-earlier quarter, a decrease of 11%.

Net profit for the current six-month period reached SAR 20.4 million, compared to a loss of SAR 7.01 million in the same period last year.

Profits per share for the period amounted to SAR 0.09, up from SAR 0.07 in the same period last year.
