NVIDIA Prepares to Resume Exports of H20 Chips to China

NVIDIA announced that it hopes to resume exports of its H20 chips to China and has applied to the US government to resume sales to Beijing soon.

According to the company’s statement today, the US government has assured NVIDIA that it will grant licenses, and the company hopes to begin deliveries soon.

The US government had previously informed NVIDIA that it would require licenses to sell chips to China, which resulted in the suspension of its sales. It’s worth noting that the H20 chips were specifically designed to circumvent previous export restrictions to Beijing.
