Northern Cement Plant Opens in Syria, Coinciding with Investment Forum

Northern Region Cement Co. announced on Thursday that Eng. Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Investment, inaugurated Al-Fayha Northern Cement Plant in Syria. The $20 million facility, with a production capacity of 150,000 tonnes of white cement per year, was inaugurated.

The Plant’s inauguration coincided with the Saudi-Syrian Investment Forum held in Damascus.

According to the Company’s statement on Tadawul, Al-Fayha Northern Cement Plant in Syria is wholly owned by the Northern Cement Company – Jordan, a subsidiary of the Northern Region Cement Company.

This inauguration marks a significant milestone in the Northern Region Cement Company’s journey, laying a solid foundation and supporting the Company’s plans for future expansion.
