New Murabba and Honeywell Sign MoU to Advance Digital Transformation

New Murabba, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Honeywell, a global leader in automation and control technologies.

According to a New Murabba press release, the MoU aims to support the development of the New Murabba destination in alignment with PIF’s strategic objectives, including enabling the private sector, boosting local content, and developing digital infrastructure across the destination. It also aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by enhancing digital transformation to help shape the smart infrastructure of New Murabba throughout its developments, including the Mukaab, a future-forward icon of Riyadh.

The MoU, signed by Chief Corporate Services Officer at New Murabba Mamdouh Al-Quraishi and President of Honeywell in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain Abdullah Al-Juffali, establishes a framework that enables the companies to identify opportunities to utilize various Honeywell automation solutions and services. These include consulting, supply, and implementation services in digital transformation and smart technologies to support the creation of an innovative and intelligent urban experience.

CEO of New Murabba Michael Dyke stated: “We are proud to sign this MoU with a global partner like Honeywell, which will strengthen our digital infrastructure and activate advanced technologies. This collaboration enhances our ability to deliver a remarkable and smart downtown that reflects Saudi Arabia’s ambition to build future cities and fosters innovation in the heart of Riyadh.”

He also emphasized the importance of having a collaborative effort in strengthening effective advancements in the core pillars of the world’s newest destination.
