MCDC Q2 Profits Edge up 0.7% to SAR 144 Mln

Makkah Construction and Development Co. (MCDC) reported on Thursday a slight increase in net profit to SAR 144 million during the second quarter, up 0.7% from SAR 143 million in the same period last year.

Operational profit fell to SAR 119 million, compared to SAR 145 million for the year-earlier quarter, a decrease of 18%.

Net profit for the current six-month period rose to SAR 294 million, compared to SAR 256 million in the same period last year, an increase of 15%.

Profits per share for the period amounted to SAR 1.47, compared to SAR 1.28 for the same period last year.
