LG Conducts Research in Saudi Arabia to Develop Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Solutions

LG Electronics is seeking to develop heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions that ensure high efficiency and powerful performance, even in hot weather.

The company announced on Sunday that it will conduct joint research with Pusan ​​National University, King Saud University, and Shaker Group to develop HVAC technologies tailored to desert regions with extreme heat and dryness, and tropical regions with hot and humid conditions.

This research will be conducted through product installations in Saudi Arabia and the collection of operating data from real-world usage environments, with the goal of developing advanced product performance and control technologies.

LG Electronics will develop and supply commercial and residential air conditioners suitable for extreme heat environments, while Shaker Group will be responsible for installation and commissioning.

Pusan ​​National University and King Saud University will support technology validation by establishing test environments and analyzing operating data.
